After an incredibly busy day running errands, and trying not to get lost in the DC area, I was relaxing and looking up stuff for Constitution Day. I was surprised by what I discovered.

     First, I found out there is a museum in Philadelphia called the National Constitution Center, which has a lot of interesting activities on the Constitution.  When I looked at the ticket prices, I was surprised to see the regular rates and the Napoleonic rates.  Napoleonic rates?  I had to laugh. Last year, during our 19th century studies, week after week, something in our books always referred to Napoleon. It's become a running joke that Napoleon is everywhere.  However, why the Napoleonic rates?  I started looking around the web site and what a surprise.  For the last several months, the National Consitution Center has hosted an exhibit on Napoleon. Wow! We have to work this in to our field trips.  A friend recently told me that we are only a few hours from Philadelphia!  Then I looked at the dates of the exhibit.  Oh no! This touring exhibit ends on September 7!  We won't be able to get up there this weekend!
