Frugal tip #2

In my last post I said that I would start putting up frugal advise. Well here is #2

Yard sales! Now most people think that garage sales are just junk strewn out on a lawn, but if you know what your looking for you can get clothing for less than an eighth of it's cost brand new. In fact my mom has managed to get an entire wardrobe for my baby brother for less than twenty dollars, and all of his clothing looks way better than if we bought it from wal-mart.

For my tastes it has also helped. I build computers from scratch, so I need computer parts. The problem is that if I buy everything brand new then we wouldn't have money for other things. Recently I got a power supply and memory for an old computer for $12.50. Band new all that would have cost about $40.00 counting shipping and handling.

The point is that if you know what your looking for, and if you know when to say no, you should be able to cloth people and take care of various needs if you go yard saleing.
