Why
you ask? well ding dang if we didn't get schol work done two days
in a row. I know to manyof you, those of you with binders, lesson
plans, official starts to your school day (Shanna ) this may seem like nothing but getting stuff done two days in a row is freaking amazing.
So
Madeline:
Math - everybody cheer. the girl has got it. the whole
carrying and borrowing thing. and get this ladies and gents -
in her head. she goes from having no concept to doing it in
her head inside of 4 problems. I just don't get that girl
sometimes.
Spelling - didn't do spelling today. wiil have to remedy that before bed. I will have her copy her spelling list.
writing/Bible - she copied her verse again and groaned when I told her
she had to memorize it. She also hates capital G and since every lesons
involves writing scripture my gues is she wil be seeing it a lot.
Lilyka: Silly
Lily erad Jen the Hen and Pat the Cat again. I think she is a
whole word learner. crap. She is just going to have to listen to
me wax on about phonetic rules and catch onto reading herself.
That girl is sharp as a tack but can also be the laziest whiniest
monster on the planet. Where on earth does she get that from (
) We also read a word bird book. I do not se what the big
deal with those are. they kinda suck. I think we will start
with the bob books tomarrow. maybe just some sound flash
cards. I hate to start with Bob books too early because
they are so easily memorized. 100 easy lessons keeps calling to
me. . . . She also did some pages in her sound books and explode the
code. we discoverd erasable colord pencils meet both of our
requirements for writing utensil (her -color and style, me-
correctable). We found her math book but the only lesson she got
from that was "we don't throw books. please put it where it goes
if you don't work on it.
Ava: took a nap. yeehaw!!
Ava and Lily went to preschool today. they go once a week.
it is more a play thing and a place for them to be while Madeline and I
work. (that reminds me I should thow her a couple of
dollars.) Madleine and I work with the toddlers. I think it
iespecialy good for Lily who has trouble socially.
