Well, I have so much to catch you all up on. First, my husband and are back together and have rededicated our loves to the Lord. Second, we brought LaVante home from school and are homeschooling again.
Let me see if I can quickly explain what happened. At the beginning of the year LA and I decided to move in together to help each other out. We lived as roommates. Well, God had other plans for us. He moved us acroos the street from some wonderful godly people. About three weeks after we moved in the man across the street came to talk to us about the Lord. LA told him how we were married but getting divorced and how we were both backslidden/ This man and his wife spoke to us without condemnation but with love about how we needed to turn back to God. A couple of days later we did. A couple of days later we got back together. Last week we were both baptizied and are in the process of renewing our vows.
After we got right with God it was only natural to resume homeschooling. So here we are. The children are doing great and both my husband and I realize that without God we just wont make it.
Thank you all for your prayers.
Not much time to write here. Between working two jobs and going through the divorce I just had time to stop by. Everyone is doing great. The kids have adjusted very well.
Carol, I have no clue what your email is. email me at
patricialemar @ yahoo. com
Thank you for all the prayers, will give better update when I can. Gotta go to work.
This will be my last post. My marriage fell apart about 1 month ago. My husband left me for another woman and filed for divorce. My children were placed in public school and I am working 2 jobs to try to get on my feet. Thank you all for being here for us. We can still use all the prayers we can get. I love you all and pray that all goes well.
Trish
Thank you everyone for all the prayers these last few eeks. I am doing much better. It was really hard there for a while, but with the thoughts and prayers from so many I made it through.
My husband as started another new job. He just was not happy in the pizza buisness anymore. He is now overseeing the opening of a new Cajun place. It is great. It is open 24hours, as a bar, and a cyber cafe with it, and is right next to USM.
The children and I are doing great in school. With LaVante we are focusing extra hard on Math and English. Rebekah is doing great at learning ABC's and numbers.
I have been working out a lot. I am now down 3 dress sizes. I am thrilled, but still not where I want to be. I am really carefull in what I eat and drink. I am also working out two times a day.
Well, I guess that is all for now. Talk to you all later.
It has been a long time since I updated. First I was super sick. I ruptured my eardrum, had strep throat and got pink eye. I have no idea where it all came from.
Then my husband and I went to class so we could take our life insurance test. We are selling it, health insurance, mutal funds, and mortages.
Then we had birthday's, both mine and my husband's. We watched the Super Bowl, but our team lost.
Then yesterday, i got word that a friend of mine killed herself the day before yesterday. Her neighbor found her. i am really upset by it.
I guess that is all for now. Talk to you all later.
Today my son turns 10. I can't believe I am old enough to have a 10 year old. LOL. I am sitting here thinking back to when he wa born. I had a very difficult pregnancy. I was in labor from 22 weeks until 33 weeks when I delievered him. At almost 7 weeks early he weighed 8 pounds. Once he made it home from the hospital he was an easy, laid back baby. He slept through the night from 6 weeks and didn't get sick for the first time until he was 18months. He was always laughing and smiling and had all the ladies in love with him. He loved being around people and loved noise. We use to take him bowling with us at 2months and he would sleep through. As a young child he was content, curious, and full of laughter. He woke up smiling and stayed that way through the day.I am proud of the young man he is becoming and cant wait to see what he does with the rest of his years.
So, if you get a chance today, please tell him Happy Birthday!!!!
Yesterday was very busy. I took my husband to work, did school, ran errands, went grocery shopping, made chili, did laundry, cleaned up, and picked my husband up from work.
In case any of you are wondering what we are doing for school right now I thought I would let you know: Math: Singapore, math blaster cd-rom English: Writing Strands, Daily Grammar, English From the roots Up, Cursive Practice, and spelling list I make myself. Science: The World of Animals, and Reptiles and Amphibians for Dummies. Geography: World Geography Bible: Book of Devotions- Attitude
Throw in some PE and that is what we are doing right now. We are enjoying it. At the end of the month I will be adding typing and Spanish.
Well, I guess I will talk to you later.
I think I am going to spend the rest of the night resting and watching some of the Bond movies that are on.
LaVante is playing Madden with daddy and Rebekah is riding her bike in the dining room.
Happy New year everyone. Last night my husband got home with 17 minutes to spare. We were able to bring in the year together, praying.
We have had a pretty busy day here. We started school back up. Right now we are doing a hodge podge os stuff until our new comes after our tax refund. It is good though. I had a bunch of stuff that had been bought and never used and now we are using it. If all goes well we might not start the next year of MFW until Sept or so.
I made gumbo for us to eat today, got laundry done, so all that needs to be done is dishes and picking up the bedrooms. My husband is off tomorrow so we will take the day off and work oround the yard if it is dry out there. We need to rake and pick up leaves and clean up the shed.
I made a couple of resolutions this year. One is to read two books a week. Last year I read one a week and really enjoyed it. Second, I want to keep my blogs updated more. As of yesterday I have four of them. Dh signed on with myspace so he could keep in touch with friends, so I signed up so we could comment on each other's. Third, is to be more organized in my homeschool. I am still going to be relaxed but I want to keep better notes on what we are doing. The last one is to be a better wife in every way. This includes working on losing weight so I am more attrative to my husband.
Well, I guess that is enough for now. We need to go do our PE.
Merry Christmas!!!
I hope you all have a wonderful time this weekend. We will be driving down to Louisiana tonight to get the children. We are having our Christmas Eve bonfire at my mil's. Tomorrow will be spent driving around south Louisiana visiting friend's and family. We will be home sometime tomorrow night.
I thought I would catch you all up on what is going on here. First this month I celebrated my 15th name day. See, I was adopted 15 years ago and had my first and middle name changed( I was adopted by my paternal grandparents so my last name was the same).
Second, I was able to spend a lot of great time with my husband. We went out some and stayed home and really reconnected. It was great. I am renewed and ready to go when the kids get back tomorrow.
Third, we found out our landlord is selling our house. He offered it to us, but we couldn't get it as we have horrible credit. Then God stepped in and the landlord offered it to us on a rent to own deal, interest free. Can you believe it. So we are going to buy the house. It means we will stay in Mississippi for a couple of years more but that is okay. I love this house. Well that is all that is going on here. See you all later.

My daughter is getting sick but my friend who is a nurse came a checked her out last night and said it was most likely this cold thing that is going around. I pray it is since I don't have a car.
Well, I will talk to you all later.
I just wanted to tell you all thank you for the prayers. My husband got the job with the pizza place. He starts Monday by flying to MN to train at the Mall of America. He will be gone from Monday until the day before Thanksgiving. He is really excited.
