Saturday, March 31, 2007 - Mud Fight

Greetings to all.

Today my brothers were going to have a mud fight. Andrew (10) asked Matthew (5) to get the shovel. At first Matthew said.

"I'm not strong enough to." But went for it anyway, when he got there he exclaimed that he is strong enough.

How often in our spirtual walk and growth do we say. "I can't do it." But with a little growth find out we can if we try. Why is this? Simple we look at things God asks us to do and say. "I can't do that." But if we try God will help us acomplish our task. Such says this well know verse: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Most of the time in our spirtual and pysical life it's not that we can't it's that we don't try.

Does this mean we can go do whatever we want to? No, of course not. This means that if we are called by God to do it, he will give us the strength.

Well my brothers came in with mud all over them. (I did not join them, to cold). Funny how things like mud and shovels can be made into such good examples.
