Terra's Team

Apr. 11, 2008

Yeah!

"Ugh!" I sighed as I leaded over in the shower, sticking my fingers into the drain and pulling out the glob of wet hair that was creating a pool out of my shower.  "This is so gross."

Then I started thinking, "How long has it been since I did this?"  And I realized, "Hey, I have enough hair falling out to clog the drain!  And I'm not going bald from chemo like I was the last time this happened 1 1/2 years ago!  This is a good day!  YEAH!!!"

Apr. 11, 2008 - Praise!

Posted by Tena F.
"Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord."
Psalm 89:15.

This is a such a good reminder that we have so many reasons to praise God - reasons that most of us don't even think about. This is one of those lessons of learning to acclaim Him.
You are a beautiful example of this verse. May He continue to richly bless you. Love you!

We've been on vacation for seven days. I've just gotten started on the third book out of the stack you let me borrow. Anyway, thought of you as I read and want to call to catch up a little. We've been settling back in to home this week so I checked your Terra's Team. Love the updates. Sounds like you had a good time at the Reunion. I've never done that but would like too...maybe :) I'd have the same ride home as you :) God sure does have a plan for some of us that comes later in life :) O.K. I'll call you soon, call me if you'd like. Tara

Wow, I read this post, it hooked me and I read through to the bottom of the page. Amazing. You have been through it, haven't you? I am glad that you see His grace in all of it. I have bookmarked you and plan to come back. Come see me, too. I homeschool three kids, and understand that particular bit of Heaven.
