| This winter, Milwaukee has picked up 80.5 inches of snow, pushing the season into the top 10 snowiest winters on record, and while the area has had its share of heavy snows, it's also been the weaker systems that have helped those piles add up.
The area has accumulated a trace or more of snow on 64 different days since Dec. 1. That's more than two straight months worth of snow.
Twice this winter, we've had nine consecutive days of snow; once in January and once in December.
The longest dry period was in January, when there was a snow-free stretch from Jan. 3 through Jan. 9.
Looking ahead, there is a chance for snow in the seven-day forecast and more snow likely over the next few weeks. On average, the area picks up an additional 10 inches of snow between March and April, and in this very above-average winter, it will take as little as three inches to push Milwaukee into the top five snowiest on record.--- from http://www.wisn.com/print/15516979/detail.html
We got more snow- just a dusting but still will need to be dealt with. We are due to get more snow tonight as Lake-effect snow again. Thursday, the 13th, we are due to get a larger storm. We may make it into the top 5 snowiest winters on record for Milwaukee, yet.
More update to come another day-
