Day 2

Day 2 was untraditional for us as I left for Florida for a birthday vacation with my mom. So, my husband and children carried on the tradition of reading from the Macabean story, playing the dreidle game and drawing pictures, and lighting the candles.

Pretty uneventful!

Oh, I am so jealous. Did you know I am a Florida fanatic? Sunshine and orange juice ooze from my every pore. I have lived down there twice - once at the age of 13 and then again as a single, just before I met my husband. I LOVE Florida and feel it's God's sense of humor to place me in MN and marry a man that loves - the great North.
