Day 3-8 of Hannukah

My husband and children went to a Hannukah celebration across the state.

There was about 200 people that joined together for teaching, praise and worship and just some plain old fashioned fellowship.

My husband played the drums for the worship team......hasn't played in 18 years and did rather well!  We even  had people in our fellowship that were astounded that he could play.  It's been a well kept secret!

My girls were soooo impressed with their daddy!

Lots of food, fun, great teaching and incredible fellowship.

They closed out the time of Hannukah together.....without Mom......but there is always next year!

Oh, that is sooo neat that you all have such opportunities where you are and that your husband is willing to drive that far away for the celebration and fellowship.

I found it odd, that the day I had decided to keep a little journal of how our day went, was the day we had no interupptions (as unusual for us as yourself). It was like surreal! We "just" happened to finish at noon for a break, and "just" happened to finish school at 3:00. I thought that was really odd! I think when one has enough time to write about how their day went, blow by blow, you can guarantee that it wasn't a normal day! (you should have seen the rest of the week) :(

About Me

These are the ramblings and musings of a very blessed woman, wife and mother of 5. Come join us on our porch. Bring a mug of herbal coffee, some comfy slippers and a big wrap around blanket. I hope we can get to know one another as we share stories of this incredible journey we are on.
