Influencing our children for Christ

Unselfishly we surrender quiet moments to soothe and comfort. Forgoing entitlements to address needs. Feeding the minds and hearts of seedlings who will someday blossom into maturity, bearing much fruit. As we set the stage by saturating their lives with the needful things such as unconditional love,relationship with Christ, a nurturing family, acceptance, faith, and guidance, just to name a few, we will one day stand back and inhale the aroma that permeates from their lives as a sweet smelling savor in the nostrils of our heavenly Father. An aroma born of willing sacrafice, dutifully and wholeheartedly imparting into the life of another. Resulting in the investment of eternal dividends in the form of souls for the kingdom of heaven. 

Holy living gets the attention of those in need of salvation and thus the cycle continues. The effect that we have on our children today will carry on and touch the lives of countless others. So if we look closely, beyond our daily duties, routines and responsibilities we can refine our eternal perspective. This insight reveals that we are not only touching the lives of our own children in a tremendous way, but quite possibly the lives of many generations to come. So stand fast and stand firm, allowing God to do the impossible through you to touch the lives of others, beginning at home.
