I recently came across a quote by Martin Luther during the reformation and I am amazed at how on the dot it is in these times. Here is the quote.

"I am afraid the that the schools will prove the very gates of hell, unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures and engraving them in the heart of the youth."

In light of the recent school shootings in Cleveland isn't it amazing how true this quote is.

This was a supposedly advanced school.

I was speaking to David the other day about the fact that the Veggie Tales are now on TV. While it is a victory that they are on the air they don't have the scripture at the end. It is a watered down version. I said that the networks think it is ok to teach morals as long as you don't teach the basis for these morals. Without the Bible in the mix you are really teaching that this is just the cultural norm not that it is truley the right way to live. This is what teaching Evolution in schools has done for our community. Without God there is no reason really not to break the law except for fear of prison. Lets face it fear of prison is nothing compaired to fear of hell.

It leads me to wonder if America as we know it will even be here in the future or will our country's godlessness distroy us like it did the Roman empire.
