Oct. 27, 2008 - The Importance of Dating Standards
So today I did somthing that I should have done a long time ago. I set my own dating standards. I know that you may be thinking that maybe this is not such a major deal ,but it is way important!!! I always thought when I did start dating that I could stop anything physical ,but in the heat of the moment I am not sure anyone could!!
So now I have a set of standards that I intend to stick to. This is what I have set for me personallly:
1) Kissing- not a good idea!!! If any at all only little pecks on the cheek NO LIPS!!!
2)Hugging-- I am thinking not a great idea 
Maybe after engagment but.... yeah not the best plan
3) Okay I don't think you need to be chaperoned every where but go to public places like resturant... then you ahve a certain level of privacy but you still don't ahave to worry about your reputaion (or purity) being damaged. Of course there is nothing wrong with spending time at your home as long as there are some adults present.
4) Holding Hands-- Now soem people believe in no physical contact and that is fine but I see no problem with holding hands... I hold my dad's hand and I hold my little cousins hand when we are crossing the road.. for me, holding hands is a sign of affection... but I mean I have no problem with people who diasagree with that =).
