Aug. 29, 2008 - OMG there should not be suds coming out of there!!!

That was my first thought when I saw suds coming out of the bottom of the dishwasher. I am at home by myself trying to surpise my mom by having the kitchen all clean when she got home. So I load the dishes in the dishwasher and add a little gel pack and some liquaid dish soap... BIG MISTAKE!! Next thing I know suds are dribbling out of the crack in the door... no biggie! I get a dish rag and wipe the suds off the dor.. problem solved!!! WRONG. Next thing I look up and theer are suds all over the floor. I scramble for towels only to see my family pulling up in the drive way. When they come in and ask what's going on I just burst into tears and explain. No one got upset they just started helping me clean it up and telling me that is was fine I would know not to use liquid dish fluid again. Then my grandma shows up and said she did the same thing one time. So i felt a little better.

It is so importent to have supportive family!! A wrong reaction by any member of my family in that situation, ecspecially my mom or dad, would have hurt me badly, made the situation worse, made me feel worse, and possibly scar me for life. You may be thinking that I am exagerating ,but I'm not. saying the wrong thing when a person is emotionally diswraught can very much damage their self-esteem... I know it has happened to me before. With that said, be careful what you say!! You can really hurt people's feelings!! o be nice, and take my advice!! (LOL I just put that 'cause it ryhmed!)

Aug. 23, 2008 - My first week of school....

My first week of school was... okay. Not great but okay. Monday started out well.. you know besides my typing class taking me 1-2 hours every day, and the slowly disentagrated through a "discussion" I had with one of my friends about relgion. God used that to inspire me to study my Bible (I have always struggled with that) and to know how to defend what I believe. Sot hat worked out well. I must say though that after typing for a couple hours every day, working on email and my blog is not exactley my idea of relaxing... mostly because my arms feel like they ar going to fall off!!!!! LOL

School is going pretty well though. I like all of my teachers (i use Abeka DVD program) so that is really nice. I am ecspecially enjoying my Bible class right now. If anyone is using the Abeka dvd program i would love to share notes by the way! I am in the 11th grade and taking Algebra 2, Chemistry, keyboarding (this semester), computer aplications (next semester), Life managment (this semester my Bible class), English 11, US History, and I can't quite recall what my Bible class is for next semester but oh well!

Just thought I would update ya'll 'bout what's going on with me! Hav e a great week next week!

I recently decided to be beautiful.. no i didn't get plastic surgery, lypo sucction, or invest in a liftime supply of Avon beauty products. I decieded to be happy with the person I am, the person that God made me. I decided to be happy with the chubby, freckle faced girl, the girl that could not tan if her life depended on it. You know what? After I quite obsessig with my outward beauty I found it.

My crooked smile, my eyes that change color, my hair that can not be confined in a one word color description. The scar on my elbow that NO ONE else has. I decided to be beautiful and I have never been more comfortable with myself!!!!!!!

I would recomend to anyone that has trouble with self-esteem, decide to be beautiful!! Decide to see yourself the way God made you! Your gorgeous! Your beautiful! And if you'll quite foucusing on the little things you don't like, you'll find the diamond that God created.

Aug. 16, 2008 - Random things about me...

Hi! so one of my friends asked me one of those random questions (which I love by the way!) that I welcomed ya'll to ask me. The question was what is my favorite flavor Gummie Bear. So I decided to just give ya'll some random facts about my life. So here goes:

I do like Gummie Bears and I LOVE the red ones. I guess that is what.. cherry flavored?

I also have an insane obsesion with bubble gum. My favorite flavor is Pink Lemonade Double Bubble Bubble gum. I love it!

Favorite candy bar: Butterfinger

Tea or Coffee: Neither I don't drink tea or coffee

I like shopping ecspecially if there is a sale involved and I am very fond of silver rings and necklaces. Of course I am also in love with shoes and purses. but almost anything with a sale sign will catch my eye.

When i gte mad I clean it out. really When I gte mad about somthing I will go start a cleaning project like cleaning the kitchen, washing the car, or cleaning out my closet. Somtimes my mom makse me mad on purpose so I will gte stuff done.. well that's what i think anyway!

I am currently reading a biography of Theadore Roosevelt, called Theadore rex, I don't recall the authour and have not read alot of it but it reads like a novel and I like it alot. I am planning on reading a biography of every President by the time I start my senior year. That means I am up to one and then 16 pages of another yikes!!

I like sour pickles but not sweet pickles.

I don't liked cooked vegatables 'cept for corn and potatos.

I LOVE music!! I am currently listening to a Pop/Rock station that plays a variety or 80's 90's and Now music. I like the Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift alot right now. I am trying to find out the name of the Jo Bros new Album... any help?? Leave a comment if you know what it is called!

Aug. 4, 2008 - Complete and utter randomness!!!

Okay hi!! This is taking me a very long time to type as I am trying to type this using the home-keys on the computer. That sentance was about all I can stand of it!! UGHHHH!! I am really not looking forward to my keyboarding class. For one I will have to not look at the keys which is like my crutch now.. and two. It makes my hands hurt to keep them on the home keys on the keyboard!! Plus I am fairly quick using my hen-pecking methods. I am sure once I learn to actually type and can do it proficiently it will be easy enough ,but right now it is juts a pain in the rear-end! LOL

I am going to be painting my room ,and the best time for me to paint it is going to be the week I start school officially. It looks like I am going to have to just start school earlier than planned so I can paint. Right now my room is a lovley cream yellow ,but I would like a change. I am going to paint it a nice lilac color. My room is fairly bright (I have two windows that get sun almost all day), so I could paint it a darker color, but I like bright colors. I am going to call it quits here.. I am about worn out from typing like your supposed to!!

Aug. 2, 2008 - Now presenting.......

Hello! I hope all of ya'll are doing well. I had a very good day today. I attended a Mass and Eagle Scout Ceremony for my very good friend James (congratulations by the way Bluejeans!). It was very much a learning experiance for me since I have been born'n'raised in a Missionary Baptist church. It was neat to learn about one of my friends religons ,but I must confess it was VERY foreign to me! After the ceremony and reception I came home and napped for a while, that was very nice since I had not had very much sleep last night. I got up around 4:00 and talked to my dad before he went to work (he works a swing shift). Then I cleaned my room, ate ice cream for supper, and parcked my rear end in front of the TV. Some of you may be flinching at the cleaning my room part ,but I am a very organized person... 'cept for my clothes. I DESPISE putting my clothes up and picking up my dirty clothes.... UGH! otherwise I am a tidy person and don't like clutter (once while waiting in line to check out at the farm center I organized the clearance display.. it was bothering me!!) Now I am sitting at the desk listening to Dierks Bentley and catching up on my emails. Purtty good day if I do say so (and I do!).

So I am sure that if you have not already started school you will be starting soon. We start on Aug. 18th officially. My brother has been working on his already ,but I had a horrible school year last year and am not looking forward to school at all! Apparently i have a language learning disorder called has-enough-trouble-speaking English-does-not-need-Spainish-added-to-the-mix... yeah it was a LONG year for me. luckily I have easy classes this year. Ya know like Chemistry, Algebra 2, and Typing (HAHAHAHA) . This is where ya'll are saying "Thank You Lord!! Her typing is almost impossible to read!!!". Well in a few short weeks that should be improved!!!

Alright this is long enough and there is only so much of me the internet can stand!!! LOL (feel free to disagree with me on that!!)

Jul. 29, 2008 - Hello!

Okay hi everyone. I haven't posted an actual post in a few days so here we go.....

I have a new friend and ya'll will have to check out here blog!! Just click on Joyful24 in my friends to check it out!

It is like so HOT at my house right now!!! I just came in from filling up the cows water and I was roasting. Plus I was checking on the cows, calves, and the bull. All the cows at our house have names. If it is born or moves here.. I name it! I can't say that I don't have favorites (and some I dislike VERY much) ,but since you don't know my cows... I won't say which are my favorites! The nice thing about our cows are that they recognize me as the head cow! I did have one challenge me for leadership one time ,but she decided that it was NOT a good idea. I know you may be laughing ,but I am the cow boss.. and they KNOW it! LOL

I am currently moving the entirity of my CD collection onto my computers... AGHHH!! It is taking quite some time!I had to get a larger CD case last christmas because they did nt all fit!! I am moving them to the computer now, so I can listen to them while I am on IM and my blog!

Jul. 26, 2008 - Just another entry....

So, I got to see my friend yesterday. And he was right he DID have me laughing within five minutes. I didn't do that great at the competion but my name did get called once so that was nice. I am kinda sad that was the last competion of the year ,but my feet are really, really glad!!! I could live without the foot cramps the day after! Standing and walking all day in boots is not my idea of shoe heaven. Not my good boots anyway, my work boots are like beyond comfortable!. The part I will miss about judging is seeing my friends. I don't have a lot of friends on the judging racket ,but the ones I do have are really great! The people you meet while judging are mostly really good people and by meeting them you already know you have stuff in common , like how me and one of my friends creamed all the guys with that Angus Hefier Class. (If you couldn't tell i am still rather thrilled by that!!)

Overall yesterday was a great day. I go to enjoy one of my very best friends company all day and both of us came away without falling down any stairs. It was all worth my leg cramps and lack of sleep!

Jul. 21, 2008 - How I am diffrent in person....

As I am writting... I look no part of my 16 years. My dirty blonde hair (not so much that it is dirty like I need a bath but that's the color ^_^) is pulled up in pig tails. I am wearing a pink tank-top over an identical white one and a pair of dark jeans. Okay maybe I do kinda look 16 ,but the hair would throw ya off!

Well back to the subject.. there are some things about me that are diffrent than when I am on the computer.

1) The phrase Oh My Word!: Yes I DO say that. We used to babysit this girl that went to church wth us. Her mom was from Cal. and said that alot, so it rubbed off on me. MORAL OF THE STORY: The people you are around DO rub off on you, so watch who you hang with!

2) In person I am actually kinda reserved: Crazy Huh? You probably never would have guessed.. but I am. I will be seeing one of my very good friends for the first time in a year this week and however outlandish I am on the computer.. for the first 10 minutes anyway he will have difficulty getting more than 5 words out of me. (Yes I am warning you, I will not talk to you for like 10 mins. You will have to drag anything out of me!)

3) I do NOT say the word Like as much as I type it: At least.. I don't think so... I am just not very creative with transitive verbs.....

Okay I am sure there is more but I can't think of any right now! If anyone can think of anything tell me....

Jul. 19, 2008 - Zipitty Doo Da Zipitty Day....

My oh my what a wonderful day! Come on you know you know that song!!

I have had a very nice day today. Considering that I am still in my PJs and did not get attacked by the possibly dangerous baby groundhog, I would say this is a most good day!

It was an interesting story the groundhog one. It all revolves around a baby groundhog, (yes it would be appropiate to say "DUHHHH!!!" here) my brother, his puppy Chance (mentioned in earlier entry/ the reason the groundhog was here), the waterhose, my Dad's Jeep, and severel various groundhog aggravating tools.

From best we can tell Chance, drug the little thing up here and then it took to hiding under the Jeep. After squirting the critter with the waterhose and poking it out from the tire wheel, the little critter was properly removed fromt the property. We live on a farm and if you follow the link you will read that grounhogs (also known as woodchucks) are very distructive to property and building foundations. That is why it was removed from the property. The problem is that it also has a big brother that lives in our hay field... Yikes!

Well that is another days problem! I wuld also like to mention an up-date about my Bible Study. It did not fare very long... about two days. I am going to try and start a daily Bible study when the school year starts, and my schedule is more steady.
