We have two new members! Welcome Joyce and Tess. I know Tess from my personal blog, so I am excited to see her here too. Joyce, I am looking forward to getting to know you .
Today (Wednesday), I went to a Wildlife Sanctuary with a friend and her daughter. You can see the pictures on my personal blog Passionforpurple. We had a good time. After we had walked for a long time and saw all the animals, we then went out for lunch, I was nervous for one reason. I wanted to stick to my diet plan. Now, that is hard to do a restaurant, but I did very well!! I ordered thier special and I only ate half of it AND I told them not to bring the chips!!!!. Yeah for me!! I also did not snack off my childrens plates (Ok, I had two french fries) but that's it! And later I restrained myself and had a very light dinner.
Now, I want to hear your challenges and how you've been meeting them this week?? When is your weigh in day? Please report your weight loss to me, so I can post it and celebrate with you.
Our blog is still going through changes. We've added a catagory & created a link to everyones story. More changes are still to come. Thank you so much to my daughter Julia, who has worked so hard to get the template the way I want it.
I don't know much about this book ,but I saw it in my Crossing Book club mailer today. It sounds interesting and right up my alley----------> Nutrition for Dummies.

I love to hear the little victory stories!! Sombra is working hard at her 'work outs'. Anymore victory stories out there?? I want to hear them... We went out to dinner last night, that is always a challenge. I made some changes in my normal meal. For that I am happy, each little battle won is one step closer to reaching our goals.
Later today I'll be posting more WW tips. Tonight is Joyce's weigh in night at WW. Joyce, If you get to stay for the meeting, maybe you can relay any tips they might discuss.

I've got some yummy foods on my menu this week, and I've started to stock my pantry with lower fat items. I was hungry after a day of errands and had my son make me a veggie snack.. He brought me a plate (way too much - but thanks anyhow) of cut veggies which I dipped in some strawberry cream cheese which I made earlier this week. I think I consumed on dairy and two veggies in that snack - but it was better than chips or cookies.
