Feb. 16, 2009 - Title is on vacation....
Well, I'm fighting some sort of sickness. I haven't gotten sick yet but I know that my body is fighting something. =P
Let's see... not much has happened since I last posted. My voice lessons are going grandly, a song that my teacher was having doubts about me ever being about to perform I'm now going to be performing in March. I tell you, I was, and am, absolutely thrilled. She says my voice is getting much stronger, which is probably why I'm being able to hit those higher notes that I wasn't able to hit before.
My Nike puppy is getting so big! -weeps- I can't just pick him up and carry him around anymore. I know, I still need to post pictures...
We had a goat die, one of my more favorite ones, which was sad. =( We don't really know what he died of but he all of a sudden got diarrhea and started losing weight really fast and would just stand there. So we gave him a shot and some wormer, but it still didn't help. =(
We don't have school today because of Presidents Day!! We're planning on going up to town, hopefully we'll stop by the library too because there are some books that I've heard of and want to check out.
Our 4-H skit for County Club Day is going good. I don't think I've really told ya'll much about it so I'll tell you about it now. It starts out in the middle of a meeting. I stand up and say something to the effect that County Club Day is coming up and I have a dance that we could do for it. The president asks if I would like to demonstrate it and I say yes and the whole club gets up and we do the dance to "Save Myself" by ZOEgirl. Someone interrupts at the end of the second chorus and brings up the point that the dance doesn't use the whole club and has an idea of his own. So we do a dance/skit thing to "Sadie Hawkins Dance" by some band I don't remember at the moment. After that dance/skit thing the president says , "Okay, all we need is a motion then." And someone gets up and says that she moves to table it 'till next month and we're all like "WHAT?!?!" And another girl pops out and says that County Club Days is next week, and I pop out and say, "Well I want to do the first dance." Then my sister pops out and says, "Well I want to do the second." And someone else pops out and says, "Let's do them both and work together." Then tahdah! The end! =D It is pretty fun. 8)
