Chewy Granola Bar Recipe

This is the granola bar recipe that I just talked about in my last post, since it was out already I figured I may as well go ahead and post it. =) It is from the Laine's Letters Website.

Chewy Granola Bars
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup melted butter
2 teaspoon vanilla

Mix in a big bowl. Then add:

3 cups oats
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup wheat germ
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
1 cup chocolate chips

Stir in well. Then press into a greased Texas sheet pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350ºF. Cut while still warm, then let cool before serving.

We usually leave the raisins out because most of us just pick them out because we can't stand raisins. So there you have it! =)
