Hello everyone! I am really glad to be a part of these blogs. My character name is Pippin Took and my real name is Emma and I am thirteen years old. I am from Ontario with my family, that also includes ten cats! I love Narnia, Lord of the Rings and want to read The Hobbit. I like horseback riding, reading and writing. I have already read The Fellowship of the Ring and am in the middle of reading The Two Towers. I have watched all three LOTR movies and both Narnia movies. Both are awesome!

Hello everyone! I'd like to thank ya'll so much for the suggestions, they are great, I'm going to use some of them, in this entry, in fact!
Alright, I have a question for ya'll. What do you think of the difference between Faramir in the Two Towers book and the Two Towers movie? I really don't care for what they did to him in the movie. He was very VERY good to Frodo and Sam in the book, and even when he found out that they had The Ring, he didn't stop them from doing what they needed to do.
Before I go, here is a video from the Two Towers, it's one of my favorite scenes!

That's pretty much it, but here is some quick info on one of my favorite parts in the lotr:
Downfall of the Witch-King
The Witch-king mounted his fell beast and began slaughtering the Rohirrim. Théoden attempted to rally his troops to form a resistance against him. The Witch-king responded by personally intervening in the fray involving the Rohirrim King. Flying on the back of his fell beast, he drove upon Théoden. The advancing Rohirrim's horses panicked as his beast attacked. Théoden's horse, Snowmane, became frightened and was struck by an arrow and fell upon its master.
As the Witch-king hovered over Théoden, Éowyn and the hobbit Merry stood in his way.
"Begone, foul dwimmerlaik, lord of carrion! Leave the dead in peace!"
"Come not between the Nazgul and his prey! Or he will not slay thee in thy turn. He will bear thee away to the houses of lamentation, beyond all darkness, where thy flesh shall be devoured, and thy shrivelled mind be left naked to the Lidless Eye."
"Do what you will, but I will hinder it, if I may."
"Hinder me? Thou fool. No living man may hinder me!"
"But no living man am I! You look upon a woman. Éowyn I am, Eomund's daughter. You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him."
Éowyn slew his fell beast in a single strike. The Witch-king arose filled with malice and attacked. Though a powerful warrior, Éowyn was no match for the Witch-king's might. With a single strike of his flail, he shattered her shield and broke her left arm.
As he towered over her, preparing to deliver the final blow, Merry rushed behind him and plunged his sword into the back of Witch-king's knee. The sword, made in Westernesse years ago dealt a crippling blow to the Witch-king, sworn enemy of the Númenóreans. Éowyn took the opportunity to strike. As he fell to his knees, Éowyn rose. She then thrust her sword into the face of the Witch-king (described in the book as follows; '...with her last strength she drove her sword between crown and mantle, as the great shoulders bowed before her'), causing him to wither and pass away from this world.
The Witch-king slain by Éowyn.
The prophecy of Glorfindel so many centuries before had finally come to pass. For not by the hands of a "man" had he fallen, but by those of a woman and a hobbit. With his death, the tide of the battle had changed and ultimately the outcome. No more than ten days later, Sauron himself was finally destroyed when the One Ring was finally cast back into the fires of Mount Doom.
ISN"T THAT JUST AWESOME!??! ! Nothing like a good ending. Well, bad for Éowyn's father (and Éowyn's broken arm) .....and for the Witch-King, but who cares about him anyway?

Hello everybody sorry I've not posted in a while. I've been trying to remember the password because I deleted the message with the password in it. I'll soon be making another post on Fantasy Journals on how Gandalf the White came to be. Those posts will be very lengthy and will span through out quite a while. Sorry this post is so short, but I really don't have that much to say.

This is Frodo Baggins, and I have something to tell everyone. The leader of these clubs, Lucy, is temporarily unavailable. She will be gone for nearly 3 weeks. Until she returns, she has placed me in charge of these clubs.
