Apr. 3, 2009 - The Honest Farmer and The Lamb

A farmer named Jayms went to sell eggs in a basket.  While he was walking in the woods, his eggs fell into a river that he was passing.

“Oh no!” shouted Jayms.  “What shall I do?”  Just then, a clam came out of the river.  Suddenly,

a lamb came out of the clam.

“Hi, there,” called the lamb.  “I heard your sad voice, and I came to help you.”

Jayms replied, “Well, I lost my eggs in the river.”  At once, the clam closed up.  The lamb went under the water and came up with a basket of egg-shaped rubies.

“Those aren’t mine,” replied Jayms.  So the lamb went under water, and came up with egg-shaped diamonds.

“Those aren`t mine,” replied Jayms.   Finally, the lamb came up with Jayms`s eggs.

“Those are mine!” exclaimed Jayms.

“They are,” replied the lamb “and so are the others.  You have told the truth.”

And as he went home, Jayms thought of the all the things he would bring for his family.

Feb. 13, 2009 - Ugly and Beauty

A woman, named Stephanie, had two daughters, named Ugly and Beauty.  The elder’s name was Ugly.  The younger’s name was Beauty.  Stephanie loved Ugly because she looked her, but hated Beauty because she looked like her dad.  Ugly was very mean and selfish.  Beauty was kind and caring.  Stephanie made Beauty go to a spring that was far away.

Once, while at the spring, Beauty met a fairy, who was disguised as a woman.  The woman(or fairy)asked Beauty for a drink.”Yes madam,” said Beauty.

“You’re kind,” said the woman (or fairy),”Whenever you speak money will come out.”

When Beauty returned, Stephanie scolded her for being late.

“I’m sorry mommy!” said Beauty.  “Please forgive me!”  As she spoke, 2 pennies and 7 quarters fell from her mouth.

“What is this?” asked Stephanie. “How did this happen?”

Beauty told Stephanie everything that happened at the spring.  By the end $403.69 came from her mouth.  Stephanie made Ugly go to the spring.  Grumpily, she went.  When she arrived at the spring, she was asked for a drink by a beautiful princess (who was really the same fairy that met her sister) “I WON’T SERVE YOU ANYTHING!!!” shouted Ugly.

“You’re unkind,” said the fairy (or princess),”whenever you speak stones will come out.”

“Did you see the fairy?” asked Stephanie.

“Yes, mommy,” replied Ugly.   3 stones came out of her mouth.

“How did this happen?” asked Stephanie. Just then Beauty appeared.

“Hi Ugly!” said Beauty.  $10 fell from her mouth.

“Hi,” said Ugly.  2 rocks fell from her mouth.

“Why are rocks coming out of your mouth?” asked Beauty.  $2.06 came from her mouth.

“Well, I um, um, um, ah AAAAAAAHHH!!” screamed Ugly.  350 rocks came from her mouth.

That was the way forever.  Money came from Beauty’s mouth.  Rocks came from Ugly’s mouth.

Because of Beauty’s kindness, she was rewarded.  Because of Ugly’s unkindness she wasn’t rewarded.

THE END

Dec. 14, 2008 - The protest a.k.a What is this?

I was doing some research on scorpions when I saw this craziness about how scorpions were alive long before the dinosaurs were.  This craziness is scientists claim that the dinosaurs were killed off in a meteor shower. They also claim that  dinosaurs were the only animals on the planet at one time (according to some guides at the Museum of Natural History in New York).

I was on the Mistbots team with my brother.  I presented things about Solar Energy.  I told the pros and cons to having Solar Energy in the house. There were judges who went around and asked questions about solar energy and our project.  My team won the Amazing Movement Award and we all got dog tags that say "FLL."

Here we are at the DaVinci Science Center in Allentown, PA.  We are getting our award here.

This is Misty the dog.  She put the solar panels on the house.

The cameraman from News69 interviewed us at the DaVinci Science Center.

Here we are talking to the microphone for the news.  See the mike on the left.

Long ago, King Alfred of England was fighting a war against the Danes. His army gets broken up. He runs through the forest and finds a woodcutter’s hut. He goes into the hut and asks for some food. The woodcutter’s wife had red hair and blue eyes. She also wore glasses and was average height. She had a bag in her hand. All she had was pizza cooking on the hearth. She said that she would give him the pizza if he watched it while she was going outside.

King Alfred did not watch the pizza because he was thinking about the war. The wife came back and the pizza burned. She said, "you lazy fellow." She beat him with the bag. King Alfred did not mind the beating and got away. So, he got his army together and won the fight.

Nov. 29, 2006 - My review of the Nativity Story

At Star 99.1, my parents got these passes to see the movie.

The nativity story is about the birth of Jesus.

It started with scripture from Jeremiah 23:5-6. The Romans soldiers are killing the babies because Herod did not want the Messiah to take his throne. Mary got betrothed to Joseph. Then the angel told her that she was going to give birth to the Messiah. Mary went to visit Elizabeth. After that, John the baptist was born.

Mary went home. Her parents were not happy because she was going to have a baby. Then, Mary and Joseph went to Bethlehem because Caesar ordered a census. Joseph had to go back to his birthplace.

Mary gives birth to Jesus. The shepherds came. Then the wise men came bringing gifts.

It was great because I thought it was a good movie. But it was a little scary. It tried to stay true to the bible, but some parts were not like the bible.

I think that children under 5 shouldn't see it.
