HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!
My Mom is the fartherest thing from your typical-get-up-feed-the-kids-drop-them-off-at-school-run-to-work-come-home-make-dinner-and-hit-the-sack-mom. First of all, she has RA,
rheumatoid arthritis, which makes her sick, very sick, alot of the time, but she pushes through the pain and she homeschools us. Yes, I said homeschools, not a word everybody knows about, but she has homeschooled my sister and me for eight years straight; and she intends to continue through both of our high school years. She spends her time searching, printing, scanning, and downloading everything she can get her hands on, to make homeschooling more fun and more interesting! She doesn't spend her time watching TV or reading books she loves, instead she spends her time working FOR the people she loves. She backs up ever decision we every make. She is there to talk to, to learn from, to gain wisdom and understanding, she is always there for you to cry to and get comfort from, and most of all she is there to pick you up when you fall. I'm writing this essay not for people to feel sorry for her or see her as some sick woman who is killing herself. I want people to see a strong woman willing to give everything for her kids even though she doesn't have to! She does it to follow God and because she loves us! She isn't just a mom, she is a Godly woman, a homeschooler, a teacher, a learner, a wise woman, she is strong, she is loving, she is caring, and she is everything to me!
