• Jul. 14, 2008 - Strawberry picking

Before I write I just want to say *Happy Birthday, ABBIE!* I hope you have a lovely day down there in Costa Rica! I miss you! This past weekend and the weekend before (July 4th weekend..those pictures coming later!) we went strawberry picking with my aunt and her children. We had a BLAST both times! The second time we were at a field that had MASSIVE strawberries! The kids had a ton of fun running down the rows in the fields, playing and eating berries. After picking the berries we headed home and made loads of strawberry jam! I have enough fresh jam to last us until next strawberry season! I made 18 jars total! YUMMY! Anyway.. I have a few pictures as well! Here is my little "N".. She fell asleep on the couch before we left for strawberry picking.. And his this is "A" at the field.. He was wearing his bell from the 4th of July that he "accidentally" took from Griffin.. And here is my sweet hubby picking berries.. He was so into it! And here's "N" eating some berries. She had more fun just sitting eating berries than anything! And this is my little cousin, "L".. She had a ton of fun, too! The kids got sick of picking berries, so they played in a pile of dirt. This is my "A" playing with his best buddy "Ev" and his older brother. And here is a berry I took of pic of with my "Macro" shot! It's so beautiful! "A" running around.. With "Ev" in the background! When we got home.. Daddy got my little GIRL "N" dressed.. She looks like her big brother here though! I think she looks so cute in a jersey! And here is a pic of some of my jam! I love homemade jam! And macro.. HAD to! Here are a couple pics from just some days at home.. Here's "N" doing what she calls "swimming" in the pool. She likes to lay on her belly in the water! And the kids both like to "sling" their babies with their playsilks.. "N" slinging her baby And "A" slinging "baby Elmo" And here's just a few pics from our last strawberry picking day I sat in the backseat with the kids because my mom came with us. Here's me and my sweet "A" Here's "N" kissing at the camera I found a heart shaped strawberry! Isn't it cute!? And "A" 's first kite flying adventure! He loved it!

Awesome pix!!! I am still sewing but took a quick break to check out what you added!!! I am making some very cool fake foods that I KNOW you are gonna love :) I'll have to show you when I'm done!!!

great series of images of your 'life'. I love stuff like this. I just had to say, that first photograph of N laying asleep on the couch is perfect. Made my heart melt. So sweet. And all that jam looks YUMMY. Never done that either, make my own jam. You Mainers sure do home-make a bunch of stuff :)
