Well our mini room makeover has completed its second phase...we have the slipcovers on and cushion covers made and on.  Now we are waiting for the bookcase and corner table to be made.  But here is a new picture of this stage of the makeover.  Bridgette is happy to have a nice rug on the tile floor to lay on and do school work!!!

This is our living room at the moment...but we have a mini makeover in the works. (I'll post after pictures later)  The plan is to put burgandy faux suede slipcovers on and my mom is making covers for the back cushions with a navy patterned material (some of which is also faux suede) that will coordinate with our current curtains and throw pillows.  We also have an area rug that is color block (burgandy and navy are among several of the colors in the rug).  My dad and my husband are going to make a bookcase/sofa table to go behind the sofa and a corner shelf to go behind the loveseat.   We aquired the sofa and loveseat a few months ago, and so we could then get rid of a sofa and chair that we didn't like.  The "new sofa and loveseat were ugly and had some wear, but we overall in good shape - and since they weren't the reclining variety like the previous set - we could get slipcovers!    Anyway, I am looking forward to when it all done and put together...it should be nice!
