Package #1 has arrived!
Our phonic material arrived today from Rainbow Resource. I'd highly recommend them. The books were cheaper there than anywhere else, and shipping was quick.
We decided to go with Phonics Plus. It's so hard to make curriculum decisions when you've never seen the books, but I really think this was a good choice. The pages are colorful and look fun. I think the boys are really going to enjoy learning to read. I'll be updating as we go along, of course.
So I just have one box of stuff left to receive, which will be coming via USPS from christianbook.com. It's scheduled to arrive by Thursday, but I'm hoping it arrives tomorrow. I'm excited to see what is in it!
In other news, I'm working on figuring out a Lesson Plan book for myself. The task is a bit overwhelming for me, and I'm afraid that I'm just confusing myself by all of the options out there. What I use will be taken from Donna Young's website (which is awesome, and every mom should check it out!). I'm hoping to figure it out by Thursday, so that when my curriculum is finally all here, I am able to get my lesson plans figured out for the next two weeks.
So much to do! I hope I can really do this. I'm doubting myself a bit...
