We have started to get into a flow this week. I now wake up earlier to have breakfast ready before it's time for daddy to leave for work. This allows us to have our morning devos together. Daddy has started making our morning devotions cover L.J.'s scripture for the week. I started using the book below with L.J. towards the beginning of the year. I was amazed at how he was actually retaining the information. However, I just stuck to the material in the book. Daddy elaborates and goes deeper on the weekly scripture. I've been learning tons of info. and enjoying our time together.

Each day L.J. and I choose an activity in the book to do. Some weeks I may only do two of the activities. While on other weeks I do more. I like that there is an activity available for each day. On the first day we cover a new scripture and story we color the summary page and post it. I color one also because sometimes you can't see the picture anymore after L.J. colors it :) I plan to laminate the pictures I color and reuse them with L.J. and the other chillins to come.

We have also started to place more emphasis on learning shapes and colors. Prior to doing this, when ever you ask L.J. what color something was, he would say green. Everything in the world was green! We are making progress in this area but have miles to go. Here's where we post his info.

Letter of the Week has been very helpful in putting all of this together. I have adopted some things and then do some other things differently. For example we don't do the theme and I don't arrange the information on a poster board. We do use some of the project suggestions. Here we made pictures out of circles. However, L.J. was more into using the glue stick.

I'll cover some of the other info. / subjects we do later. Almost half of L.J.'s nap time has already passed.
