Good Times

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated.  The entire family is doing well!  That includes Baby Oby #3.  We've seen her :) (wishful thinking on my part)  two times.  Thank you all for your prayers and continue to pray.  I'm only seven weeks and we found out about one of our miscarriages at 11 weeks.  We know that He is Sovereign and we continue to rest in that.

The boys are growing by leaps and bounds!  Coleman should be walking soon and L.J. reading.  He asks everyday to do "home school".  It amazes me how eager he is to learn.  Sometimes I feel like I'm such a slacker and am not doing everything I could be doing with him.

I can't believe Christmas is around the corner.  We finally purchased a tree.  There was one good tree left just waiting for us.  And because we waited so late it was 25% off.  Maybe we need to wait this late every year.

Now let's see if we can get the Christmas cards off.  Unfortunately, I just ordered them yesterday and will not receive them until the end of the week.  Yeah, I procrastinated once again.

We had a great time having our pictures done for our Christmas card.  We contacted Desiree at Just One Year Photography and told her what we wanted and she made it happen.  They were so professional and nice.  One of our requests was that we wanted to incorporate some of the boys from LaCartlon's small group.  Desiree asked us to tell her more about Mercy Street and the boys.  Afterwards Desiree said that she and her husband wanted to do our photo session for FREE.  We couldn't believe it!  And on top of all of that she surprised us by designing our Christmas card also.

About Me

Welcome to the journey of a wife and a mother who is evolving! Yes, evolving! Evolving into a person who actually enjoys cooking instead of despising it. Evolving into a mother who wants to create lesson plans and teach them to her son. Evolving into a wife who wants to be a better helper to her husband. Evolving into a daughter who wants to be more and more pleasing to her Heavenly Father.
