Month In Review

OH, how the time is a flyin!

So, what have we been up to?  Here we go . . .

For Easter "The Cook" (my dad) was out of town.  So, guess who told her mother she could come over for Easter dinner.  I had good intentions but we ended up eating out.  I felt bad, but it sure was easy.

Here we are, all nice and full.

Here are my guys!

Things sure do change in a year.

This month marked the end of something special.  Well, until the summer is over.  These guys won't be gracing us with their presence for a while and our home sure will miss them.

They come over on Tuesday nights for Bible Study and L.J. loves it.

This past weekend we drove to the place with all the lovely houses.  I couldn't get enough of them.  It was one of the highlights of the trip for me.  Dad and the boys stayed at the hotel while Auntie Kelly and I fed my addiction.  If you live in any of these lovely, lovelies, just invite me in the next time around, O.K.  Then I won't be the crazy person asking her sister-in-law to roll down her window and take pictures.

However, the biggest highlight was that Uncle Mike graduated from Dillard University.  LaCarlton was so proud of his little brother and L.J. was proud of his uncle.  We love you Mike!

These boys had a wonderful time in New Orleans!

I looked at the pictures of those houses and said, "that looks like home." Indeed it is!

I miss you so much Neat. Now that you've been to the N.O., may be you can visit a New Orleanian in Germany. After the baby's born, of course.

Miss you much!

About Me

Welcome to the journey of a wife and a mother who is evolving! Yes, evolving! Evolving into a person who actually enjoys cooking instead of despising it. Evolving into a mother who wants to create lesson plans and teach them to her son. Evolving into a wife who wants to be a better helper to her husband. Evolving into a daughter who wants to be more and more pleasing to her Heavenly Father.
