Feb. 5, 2006 - Nature Study
Today we got in an unexpected bit of nature study when we discovered this hidden away in our back garden!
A beautiful, early daffodil just coming into bloom! R sketched it out on a piece of nature journal paper from Donna Young and we put it in her work folder.
As today is Sunday, it's "real English tea" day 
Yum! homemade scones and carrot cake! I'm going to make sure I enjoy it to it's fullest too as tomorrow I start a diet and I have to be good!

I always take the weekend off from 'healthy eating'
maybe we'll go on a signs of spring walk this week... see if anything is coming up through the snow

Hi both! I shouldn't do it but I'll make you more jealous by saying we've got little green buds appearing on the trees too and a LOT of singing birds! :) It's bliss!
As for my diet - I don't think I've ever eaten healthily in my life lol! This has to be a first.

I thought your part of the world didn't get spring this early. I am so tired of clouds and cold. I do love the idea of Sunday tea! Blessings!
