Thankful Thursday

Psalm 100:4
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

10 things I am thankful for today

  1. A God who loves me and forgives me despite my failures
  2. A husband who loves God and desires holy living
  3. 3 beautiful daughters who teach me every day
  4. Loving parents and in-laws who are always available
  5. A roof over my head
  6. Food in my cupboards
  7. A van in my garage
  8. Waking up today!
  9. God's Word to teach me and speak to me
  10. The Holy Spirit to refine and guide me

Thanks for the encouraging comments. I too am thankful for a husband who desires to be holy. I know Aaron doesn't always think of himself in that way but the fact that he tries to do his best for God and our family makes him a wonderful father. With the kind of work that he's involved in, he experiences a lot of extremely dysfunctional families. I get so used to how our family operates that I'm flabbergasted by all the problems that some families have. Eric seems to be on the same page as Aaron. I know that Aaron admires his purposeful choices of music. All the time he puts into really reading and understanding the messages that are being presented in the song definitely shows a desire to please God.
