Yesterday my Mom, sister and I all went to the craft store to get yarn for some crochet projects we are working on. Mine is a beautiful crochet dress from interweave crochet magazine'sspring issue. I am working on the top at the moment, which is worked in single crochet and as soon as I finish that I will start on the bottom which is a shell stitch. Here is what the dress will (hopefully) look like when I'm finished-
Mine is in the same color, so of course it will look very similar, but I'll post a picture of it when it's finished so you can see my work. Blessings, Elise
That dress is cute! My great-grandma tried to teach me to crochet a few years ago, but that was after she had arthritis and couldn't do it very well any more, so I never really got the hang of it. I hope your dress turns out well. :-)
I have to say, I tend to agree with you about the environment. I know a couple of people who are very passionate about it, but I just don't get very excited about it. Not that the earth, God's creation, isn't important, but personally I feel like God has put different things on my heart that are more important, at least for me.
Haha, I understand the dance recital thing too. All the last minute craziness. :-) It's fun, though! My sister just had her ballet recital a couple of weeks ago. She posted LOTS of pictures and some videos on her blog, if you'd like to see! She's at www.homeschoolblogger.com/dancingfeet .
