This link above was passed onto me by a fellow homeschooler, and now we can't get enough of it! The absolute best time to view is about 11:30PM (MST). It's early dawn there and all the animals come to the pond for baths and drinks! We see baboons, warthogs, elephant families, ostrich, gazelle, wildebeasts, alligators, birds and much more!
Of course, the kids are all sleeping at this time. BUT...if you click on the little video, it gives you the option to make it into the big "theater version", it says. Make it big. Then at the bottom of the page, you can hit "record." I usually record for about 20-30 minutes every night, label it with the animals I saw, and the date, and then the kids can watch it in the morning!
It's so addicting though. I have it up all the time!
Have fun with it! |
