My girl's are not old enough to date, yet.  But when they are older, I think I'm going to introduce my children to courting.  There's no way a young boy will sit in front of my house and honk his horn for my daughter to go running after.  Or calling her up and telling her to meet him someplace....

Okay,  it COULD happen, but not as long as I'm in my right mind.

We talk to our girl's now, and tell them how a nice boy will behave, and how a bad boy will behave.  They don't really understand it now, but I hope our words will be whispering to them when they begin looking.

God thought enough of us to loan these precious gift's to us. We better take good care of them.

There is a lot of material out there for teaching your family about this.
Important thing is to start instilling this idea now while they are growing up so there are no rebellious attitudes toward it later. One of which that we say is: when the time comes God will wake up your heart and Daddy and Mama will help you make the decision with the Lord's help.

This is so important, and is very seldom taught in the home. More parents should take control of their children (in the right way). This is a topic I could get preachy with, so let me just say:
