Wrecked Cars, Damaged Mailboxes, and a Little Music to Cheer Us Up

Monday, we discovered that someone had ran into our mailbox.  The mailbox was still on the post, but it was loose.  No big deal, I guess, but it would be nice if someone would fess up and repair it just to be a good neighbor.  Hubby will get out there soon and do it either way.

Then yesterday, hubby discovered someone hit his car in the side.  The passenger door will not open.  Hmmm... I hope this isn't becoming a pattern.  I feel like screaming, "Hang up and drive!"  LOL!  Just kidding.  The car was parked off the side of the road at the end of our driveway... not too far from the mailbox on the oppostie side of the road.  I guess the mailbox wasn't good enough for them.  Again, no one fessed up.  Hmmmm...

So did we let all that get us down?  Nope.  MAtter of fact, here's a piano and guitar recital to get us in a happy mood:

My daughter started her piano lessons again.  (Yes, I teach her.)  She is so proud of herself, and I am too!!!  She is doing great.

My son just got his guitar Friday night.  He is LOVING it!  Here is the first song he learned with a chord change.  We are learning guitar together using a book... and soon DVD's... but he doesn't know that. He will be so excited!  Good job, Bubby!
