Thoughts of a Sixteen year old girl!

The Three Trees

This is one of my favorite stories so I thought I would post it on here! Enjoy!

Once upon a time, as most stories begin, there were three trees. One wanted nothing more then to hold the world's greatest treasures. "To belong to a King and hold his most prized possestions would be the greatest honor." said the first tree.

The second tree wanted to become a mighty ship that would transport the great King across oceans or bring warriors into mightly battles. "To get a King to destination would be the greatest triumph" he thought.

The third only wanted to grow strong and tall. Taller then all the others trees of the forest so as to be closest to God and Heaven. "Living would bring glory to Him." The tree thought to himself.

Well, the years past and the tree cutters came. The first tree was cut down and sent to the carpentor where he was made into a cow's eating troph. He was filled with hay and feed and there he sat, in a cold stable for many years. The years passed and he was terribly disappointed that he could not hold the great treasures he had wanted. Then one day, a man and his pregnant wife came into the stable. When the woman had given birth, they took the troph and lined it with soft, warm hay and laid the child inside. Many people came to see this child. Kings laid gifts of gold, frankensense and mirth before the troph and bowed before the child whom they called "Messiah".

In the years afterwards, the second tree was cut down and made into a fisherman's boat. Instead of fulfilling his dream of carrying kings across mighty oceans, he was set to sail out for fish. His deck was filled with smelly, thrashing fish until one day, a stranger came onto to his boat. The waves crashed against the boat's sides and he was tossed to and fro until the stranger stood and told the storm to cease. Just as soon as the storm had begun, it ended. The waters were smooth and clear, the wind stopped its howling and the little boat carried the Man to the other side safely.

The third tree was cut down last of all and sent to the lumber yard where he sat for a long time. A small tear of sap ran down the bark of the tree as he realized he would never be close to God. Then, two men came and cut the tree up into a cross for criminals. He was laid on the shoulders of a beaten and bruised Man who wore a crown of thorns on his head. People jeered and taunted the Man as He was nailed to the cross. A sign was placed over the Man's head that said "King of the Jews"

Each tree got their wish but not in the way they had expected.

I just think this story is amazing!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Cinderella

why is it that the girl in movies always runs away? Why is it that the 'Prince' can't guess who she is when all she has covering her face is half a mask? It seems almost like movies with the whole Cinderella theme just disappoints us girls out in the world. We expect some handsome, heroric, perfect dude to come up to us and everything is happily ever after. When I was little, I knew that I would marry my perfect prince charming! Now, it just seems like the wrong guy is coming up everywhere, that the guy who I want to be the Princess to looks past me to the girl who doesn't even notice him, and that the guys have a hard time coming up to us! I am not 'cute' or petite or whatever you would like to call it. I do not have that flirty giggle nor the eyes that catch you and never let go. When I laugh, I laugh loudly and out right; when I play, I play hard and to win. I know how to shoot a gun, I where guy swim trunks over my bathing suit so that I don't have to worry about my long legs! My friends, on the other hand, have the perfect hair, they are petite and each have that little girly giggle. While I hang out with the guys and they seem to think that I don't need looking out for, they are ready to grab the blade and protect Lady Friend while Warrior me fights my own battle. Just seems kinda funny to me that the guy always shows up at the right time! :) hehehe

Maybe I am just in one of those moods that movies are retarded and I just want to get to the fight scene. Maybe it's the cold weather. But whatever! :) Well, all you Cinderella's out there reading this, hope your life does not turn into a movie or a book. Be who you are. If the Prince of your dreams doesn't see you for you, he's not worth it. If I could only take my own advice. :)

yours in cyberspace,

Hello to all!

Hello to all those out there reading this!

I absolutely cannot wait until Christmas break is here! Everything right now seems so hectic and I cna't wait to get lost in the Christmas season! Right now, our house is semi-trashed because of the thousands of boxes we have of Christmas stuff. My mom goes all out for Christmas! We have three trees downstairs - the family tree, the Montana tree, and the snowman tree. The family tree that has ornaments that we have been collecting since Mom and Dad first got married. The actual tree is an authentic one we bought while living in Japan and its the only tree I remember! It's old but it looks nice and we love it! The Montana tree is covered with woodsy ornaments - moose, birds, snowflakes, bear, snow shoes and so on. Since my mom and dad were both born and raised in Montana, it's just kinda been in our varies houses. From New Mexico to Japan and back to the States, there has always been a Montana something in the house. Mom and Dad hope to go back to Montana after Dad retires but you know God - His plans don't always fit ours! :) The snowman tree has snowflakes, blue balls, snowmen, and colored lights (the only place in the house other then nutthousemouse's room that has colored lights)  and looks very cute! My favorite has always been the family tree! :)

There are other reasons i can't wait for Christmas break: a best friend returning home, school is out for a bit, everyone seems to grow nicer, there is peace, and things just seem to go nice and slow! I can read, write, draw, or do whatever! Its wonderful! Then comes the whole new year - I'm graduating high school, nuttyhousemouse is graduating the 8th grade, we get a new president (not too thrilled on that one but oh well), it means that I only have one more semester before Summer is here again and there are so many other things!!! I can't wait!!!

Well, I will leave ya'll to leave your thoughts!! :) See ya!

blah and so on

Hello to all you readers out there! Its me again!

School is going slow and fast at the same time...not sure how that works but thats how it is! :) Can ya'll believe it's almost December?! AKKK!!!! Scary because I'm graduating in May and it just seems like it's coming up too fast! I'm looking forward to it but I don't wanna grow up I guess! hehe! Have ya'll seen "Finding Neverland"? It is a favorite of mine and nearly makes me cry at the end every time. :( Anyway, James Barry (author of "Peter Pan")says how he never really grew up. That movie is so awesome and Barry has just such an amazing imagination. There is a scene when his wife walks into her room and its just a room. James Barry walks into his room and its a feild with a single tree, bright sun and so on! :) He also says my favorite quote, "Just a dog? Just?! What a terrible, dream-dashing word! Saying Porthos is just a dog is like saying 'he can't climb that mountain, he's just a man.' or 'that's not a diamond, it's just a rock.' Just." I love that!!! hehe

Ok, so I have a few thoughts on something. What a good guy should be and do!

1: A good guy should always stand up a girl when she is attacked verbally or otherwise.

2: A good guy should hold the door for every girl, no matter who she is.

3: A good guy should talk to a girl when she talks to him, even if the guy is shy!

4: A good guy should make 'his girl' smile easily.

5: A good guy should always put a woman's needs in front of his own.

These are five things a good guy should NOT do!

1: A good guy should NOT slightly step up for a girl. he shouldn't just sorta, kinda, little bit stand up for her

2: A good guy should NOT just hang around a girl and not say anything to her...IT FREAKS HER OUT!

3: A good guy should NOT make a girl feel uncomfortable, judged, or inferior while she is around him.

4: A good guy should NOT treat a girl differently when he is around his guy friends.

and 5: A good guy should NOT pressure a girl to be something she's not!

These are just some things that have been on my mind lately. So, I thought I would write a bit about and get your thoughts. Write comments!!!!!

Edgar Allan Poe

I've been working on a biography for my mom...for some stupid reason I complained about not having any papers to do! DON'T DO THAT!!!! :) hehe

Anyway, I chose the poet, short story writer, Edgar Allan Poe. Its no wonder all his works are suspensefull, dramatic and normally tragic! The guys dad deserted his mom and him a year after he was born and his mom died at age three! he lived with a man who did not even adopt him as his own and also would not allow Poe to seek a career in the literary area. His wife died after only being married to her for eleven years. he was a drunk after that and was in love with someone else while married to Virginia. All these things started piling up and it was just kidna like....HOLY COW this guy was depressed! akk!! Don't get me wrong, the guy was brilliant! His short story "The Tell-Tale Heart" is amazing and plays with emotions so well its kinda weird but man!

so this is all i have time for at the moment! See ya'll later!

need backup

I feel so weird...almost exposed. I sorta feel like I've lost my backup. That I'm under attack...and I'm by myself. At least physically, thats how I feel. Know what I mean? Its strange! I feel like fighting and defending me but then I'm just so tired that its almost to the point where you just want to wave the white flag a surrender. Its kinda an annoying feeling!!!! grr......

I am the fighting type...I don't like laying down and taking it. I'm stubborn and have a temper and such but its weird....right at the moment, I feel like grabbing by sword, some warm clothes and such and leaving to live in the woods for forever!

Alright...I need to go now! See ya'll!
