Now that you've had a good laugh I guess I can tell you a little bit about us.
So forgive me if it seems like I'm rambling. I've been married, for, I don't know, 12 years this year.. As you can see, we have 4 children. My oldest is about 10, as you can see from our pics, he is wanting to learn how to skate on a board. Maybe I shouldn't be the one to show him how.. Or maybe I should so he can learn from my mistakes. My first daughter is 8. She is already starting to be quite the homemaker. She is alot like her mom. She likes to start cool projects, but rarely finishes them up. I know, I know, they are the only ones out there like that! All your wives and daughters finish ALL their projects, and, your house is emaculant too, right? Anyways... Our last two children are reversal babies. Isaiah is our first reversal baby. We went to Arkansas for the surgery. We camped at Petit Jean State Park. We had just gotten a pop-up camper, and thought it would be fun to camp out, even though I was having surgery. Somebody said it was "outpatient surgery".. Well, after that expierence, I highly recommend that campground for camping.. but not for recovery! Get a hotel! After my pain meds kicked in, I was napping in the camper. My wife came in to cover me because I was cold, and silly me had forgotten to put the jack stands down in my camper.. Can you figure out what happened? Well, the camper tipped over. I was already half unconscience from the pain meds. My wife needed somewhere to put her hands when the camper tipped to the side. Do you want to know where her hands landed.. Yup! Right in my recovery zone! Even after all this, if I had to do it all over, I would. (crazy me.. its about midnight and I am helping keep the newborn quiet so the rest of the house can sleep!) Well, she was pregnant only 6 wks after the reversal! Wowza! So, my second son came along the next year.. I think his personality was directly influenced by that camper tipping.. but, the jurys still out on that one. Well for my fourth well shes not even a month old. We're still trying to figure her out. Well like I said it's late here and I have a regular day job to get to in the morning. If Im not there they will stop all operations. Now, we cant have that happening now can we? I know all you other hard working dads can relate. Good Nite. |
