Jan. 31, 2007 - Kings & Queens Unit Study Fun #2
While studying Kings & Queens we had an English tea party and had made Queen Cakes(Marie Antoinette) for it. The kids dressed up and we had little cutout sandwiches and tried to decorate the table fancy. Sam had drawn a teapot and cut it out and said that it was decoration for our table too. 
It was cute. We made some tea which none of us liked (I am not a tea person) and drank out of "tea", coffee, cups.

Several years ago we held a community Medieval Feast for other homeschoolers. It was a lot of fun. Everyone dressed up, we had a jester, storyteller, magician, ladies, minstrels etc. We made our own bread bowls to eat soup out of as well as other things I can't remember now.
