Uwajimaya:  Japanese food, Japanese toys, Japanese candy, Japanese drinks, Japanese stuff...all dem things you can no buy in Idaho because people here just don't eat...Japanese...anything...but I am the only person in fifty square miles that can fold a crane out of a restaurant menu...where was I?

And then off to the Woodrings' for pizza and convivial conversation (at least until the girls punk out or have a screaming fit, whichever comes first).  Then back to Renton / Tukwila / Kent / wherever for a night of fitful sleep in an unfamiliar bed with two adorable little piglets pressing up against me like four-and-twenty blackbirds in a pie...and then...

The BIG spending trip:


Although I daresay that if I really tried (and had a big enough cooler), I could achieve parity of spending between the two stores.

Yes, really.

A shopping trip in Seattle with two little girls!  And lunch with Aunt Kathy...Swedish meatballs and more convivial conversation!  (I haven't received email back from Aunt Nora yet, I'm hoping she'll pop in there somewhere.)  I can't wait!  Fun and games are be had...well, then there's that five hour drive back, but the girls can sleep and I'll just make a new CD for the truck.  Actually, I'll burn something like five or six new CDs for the truck...all poundy techno music so I don't fall asleep on the long stretches between, say, Ellensburg and Moses Lake.

Oh, and to pique your curiousity, just a tad...

I'll give you a hint, that's not my blanket the little critter is lying on.  Hence, that critter is not at my house.  Other than that, I'll leave you to rack your brains for, oh, all of five seconds or so before you shrug and hit up the next webpage.
