In all of his uniformed glory. Look at those pants. Look closer. REALLY look at those pants. We're not looking at brand names here. Do you see how white those pants are? Hm. Yes. White. Blinding, really. Spandy-clean. New. The epitome of fresh and new.
Not any more.
Don't believe me? THIS is how they get dirty...from little boys sliding into base. First base, mind you. He didn't know he wasn't allowed to do so. That was his first game.
His second game - now he's figured out the whole "which base I can slide into" thing. Don't laugh...I didn't know you couldn't slide into first base either.
At least he didn't go in with his cleats up.
The below pic is Josh on first base, second pic is second base...you get the idea. During that particular game (which was different from the "slide into first and get my pants dirty" game), Josh managed two runs home. He's getting better, much to the chagrin of the team that they smoked to the tune of 7-0. They stopped playing after 4 innings and had an unofficial 5th inning so the other kids could actually get to bat.
Now, why should we let them get better by practicing on us? Oh yeah, because they're all little kids.
The Boy up at bat.
The pupa dog continues to get bigger...n' cuter...official pickup date is confirmed as May 30th. Superior!
North Idaho adventures blog, filled to the bursting with sports, snow, mishaps, weather, injuries, church, the odd rant and general all-around lunacy. Sometimes those subjects even get randomly combined. Enjoy.
