We've Got A Date And Name Changes
So, we've got a date scheduled for new Baby Bean to arrive into the world:
February 12th
At this point, the time is up in the air. Doc would like to have an "early morning" surgery, i.e., 0730. Which doesn't sound bad until you discover that means we have to be there at 0500. If there is good weather, that means leaving at 0415. If it's bad weather, yikes, no point in going to bed that night, right? (for those who want to know, the children will likely be spending the night at Kevin & Annette's place if Aunt Shirley is not here)
Naturally, there is a possibility she may arrive sooner, as that surgery date is a whole whopping four days before my actual due date AND she is measuring a week larger. (Jessica arrived three weeks early, Joshua ON his due date and with Sarah, I had preterm labor 36 weeks and then surgery at 39 weeks.)
As far as names, we've booted around Leah, Hannah, and now are leaning toward Rebecca (Rebekah was tossed as being a bit too exotic). But, for those who remember when Jessica was born, her name was changed in the hospital as I was in labor, so this current favorite may change several more times over the next 6 weeks.
I guess it's probably best to just not ask, since we're so wishy-washy.
That's all for now - snow continues to fall, although we've had a warming trend, so it's getting heavy and wet and flat roofs are collapsing all over the place (mostly businesses). Jay has the cold/bronchitis combo that will.not.quit and he is quite miserable. Kids are getting squiffy about being inside so much and all in all, a typical winter.
