A Time Of Refreshing

In my personal Bible study time I've been pouring over scripture about renewal,
rest, filling, and guidance. Because I've felt like I was running on empty. When I get that way, I usually,
withdraw from everything and everyone and
try to"restart" my engine. Well, you can't restart an engine that has no fuel.
Even if you get it started you won't go far. Matthew 5:6 say, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled". Psalm 23 speaks of how we are cared for by our Shepherd, Jesus.
He guides us, gives us rest and fills us to overflowing!
Ephesians 3:20-21 says, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly
above all that we ASK or THINK,
according to the power that works in us,
to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus t
o all generations forever and ever, Amen".
Praise the Lord for His constant care, His love, and His abounding blessings in our lives. He refreshes, revives, and refills us, so we can continue serving Him with gladness.
Isaiah 40:29 say, "He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might he increases strength".
Psalm 8:3-4 - "When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon, and the stars, which You have ordained,
What is man that You are mindful of him,
and the some of man that You visit him?"
Thank you Lord.

Those pictures are so lovely. The outdoors are so refreshing, nurturing and comforting.

Forgot to tell you earlier - Yesterday Emily, Maggie and I were at our Granny's house raking a field of long wet grass. Well, not a whole field, but it was hard work! Nearly two hours it took!

And then we had to walk up and down the yard behind her barn and along the side ditches looking for her keys. (She had been mowing but forgot she left her house keys sitting on the mower. We had to find where they fell off.)

We looked and looked for a good two hours (those side ditches are nothing to sneeze at). At long last, after many cars had slowed down staring at us wondering why we were slowly poking in the grass, we finally found them!

Emily may have already told you the story, but oh well. :)

Blessings,
-Breezy
