Precious Moments

Today, I was reading from Rod & Staff's,"Bible Stories to Read", at Squirrely-Jo's nap time. (I was reading from story 16 - "Joshua is the Leader".) I got to the part in the story where it tells about Moses' disobedience, and that it was time for Moses to die. But first God let him see beautiful Canaan from a high mountain, and when Moses died God buried him.

Squirrely-Jo looked up at me with tears collecting in her eyes and said, "Momma, I'm sad for him."

I said, "For who?"

She replied as only a three year old can, "For Modse-zest, he died."

I comforted her and explained in short disobedience, sin, consequences for sin,and that God is Holy and we need to obey Him.

She then kissed my cheek and told me, "I want to obey, Momma."

What a precious moments the Lord grants, when we take the time to teach our children His Word.

May the Lord bless you as you teach your children.
