OMGosh!!

Okay, the Lord has BLESSED our socks off BIG TIME. We had already purchased tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party at WDW... they cost me $140 and I wanted to find a way to re-coup some of that money, so I checked on EBAY and they were selling for approx 10% discount. So, I listed them for $10 a ticket and hoped that I'd re-coup most of my money, but I didn't expect it.

Within 24 hours I had 9 emails asking me to end the auction early, that they'd pay me full price for the tickets.. $140. I wanted to take one particular lady up on her offer because she lives right here in my city, and I figured how easy would that be?? She could just come right over and pick them up. So I went to get the tickets in my hands before calling her and I couldn't find them!!!!!!!! The auction was a 5 day listing, so I figured I had a little bit of time to figure it out and went about my business cleaning house, packing for our trip etc... figuring I'd come across them as I went, since I remember placing them in a "safe" place.

In the meantime, like a turd, I avoided my computer like the plague because I was so worried about having to cancel the auction due to not being able to find the silly tickets!! Good grief! lol...

So, in a last ditch effort, I decided to check my desk again, and they were sitting right there, in the most obvious place you can imagine!! So I got on the computer to see how the auction was doing, and if I should go ahead and accept one of those 9 offers to cancel the auction. I was taken aback and in awe and wonder when I saw that the tickets were already at $340!!!!!! OMGosh! I checked the WDW website and the tickets have sold out. No wonder! The timing!!! God is sooo in the fine details. I had the phone in my hand to call and let someone have them for $140 but couldn't find the tickets. Then.... while I'm waiting around for a couple days they sell out and the value goes through the roof! We needed the money, I just never dreamed God would provide us with it like this!

They closed today at $560. I had no idea that was remotely possible! It never occured to me to sell them for a PROFIT... I was just hoping I'd get back some of my money. The Lord is soooo good. WOW!

I am floating on cloud nine!

Lovely evening

We had the most lovely day/evening. My MIL and I have been distanced now for a few years.. (way too long of a story to tell, and I already have it journalled oodles anyways) and she and I have started to re-connect. It's really good.. really good.

So, the kids and her put together a coin collector kit with all the state quarters this afternoon and then we went to her house and had pizza and watched movies. We got to chit chat a lot and were able to apologize to each other and move forward from our very, very broken relationship. So good.. I really feel blessed right now. God has allowed our relationship to begin healing, and we're going to make it. I love that. It's important to me that the kids have their Grandma, and I love having her as a friend.
