Christmas Puppies!

Well, my baby boy and baby girl are almost 10 weeks old!  They are so precious!

Mom says they will be going to new homes in about two weeks.  I'm pretty sad about that. 

 

Life goes on.  I just pray that my babies make another family very happy this Christmas!  And hopefully I'll still get to see them like their older half brothers!

Catching up!

No time, no write!  Arf arf!

 

So sorry I haven't kept up with my bloging duties!  I have so much to tell you!

 

Life has been good and I love being a mommy again!  My puppies are turning 4 weeks old on Tuesday! (I know--ruff, ruff!  It's been THAT long!)

 

Let me back up a little...

 

My delivery was no biggie--my babies came two days early.  Our first little girl was not healthy and later went to be with the Lord.  Her sister was born next and her baby brother was the last one born.

 

They are just precious!!!!

 

Mom has had a house full of people off and on with homeschool kids having a co-op of some sort, a birthday party for little Sara and constant friends around.  Well, I'm not nervous anymore, and my babies have been handled constanly! 

 

Cody Jr. is walking now!  And little Misty barked at me!  It's the cutest thing!  Cody Jr. has a darling little face and tends to be favored by everyone.  But Misty is adorable too!  She has some peach patches of color on her fur in places, it gives her character but will probably fade as she gets older. 

 

Mom is going to start weaning them tomorrow.  I am enjoying nursing them and I don't want to stop yet!  I leave them for longer periods of time now and I love to go on my walk with mom!

Any day now!

I'm due on Thursday!  ARF! ARF!  I went to the vet with my mom, and I have three puppies inside!  I feel huge!  I am excited and scared!  I know how bad it hurts now, but I am also excited because I can't wait to be a mommy again!

Hello my faithful friends!

Ruff!  Arf! Arf!  What a fun summer it has been!  My family has been very good to me!  In fact last week, my mom brought a special someone to visit me!  His name is Cody and well, arf arf, he's my new husband!

 

That's right...We are expecting!  Well, I'm pretty sure of it!  The new litter should be coming near the end of September! 

 

Here is my new husband...isn't he sooooo cute?!!!

My boys are gone...

My boys all left home on Friday and I new they wouldn't be back.  Mom kissed me goodbye and they all left in the motorhome.  Later that evening, mom told me the news...

 

After deciding that Friday would be the first day to find new homes for the puppies, mom packed up their paperwork, toys, food, crates and my sisters and left for some kid friendly parks.  Being over 100 degrees out, they had no luck.  However, later during rush-hour traffic, they set up out on a corner lot with signs on the RV and with little Sara holding a puppy out towards the on-coming traffic...

 

Within an hour the puppies were sold and had new homes!  Some very freindly people stopped and chose "Red Boy", they called their sister and she showed up and chose "Purple Boy".  She called her neighbor, and she arrived and chose "Blue Boy" !  Amazing!  And what's so neat is that the little guys will be able to visit each other often!

 

Mom told the new owners that she also does pet-sitting, so any time they can't take the puppy with them, they get to come back home and visit me, their MOM!  ARF, ARF!!!!

 

Also, I got to say good-bye to them separately on Saturday when they came back for their final shots.  I'm sure going to miss them, but I am enjoying my freedom and worry-free life again!

 

Mom also told me that one of the new owners goes to the same church as mom and dad!  They also live very close to us and, well, I just couldn't be happier!  They have new kids to play with and new doggie friends too! 

 

Mom said she'll post some pictures as soon as she can find the USB cord, whatever that is!  RuffRuff!!

10 weeks old!

Hello everyone!  ARF ARF!!

 

Well a few weeks have gone by...my boys are 10 1/2 weeks old now.  They are so much fun!

 

 

My Mom is looking for new owners for them, and that really makes me sad.  I  will miss them terribly when they leave...but let's not think about that yet!

 

Purple Boy is the alpha dog, and sometimes I have to put him in his place!  He is so hyper!  Red Boy is very sweet and so is Blue Boy!  They both love to cuddle!

I'm so embarrassed!

Look what my mom did to me!  I have never been so embarrased in all my doggie life!  ARF! ARF!

 

 

She thought it would be so cute to see me dressed up like the Easter Bunny! Hummpf!  And just look how exposed I am!  It's indecent!

 

My little guys are of course cuter than ever!  They must take after me!  Their father hasn't even come over to see them!  The little sire!   I don't even have a good picture of him to show everyone.

 

I guess I'm just a little moody because of this picture.  Well, mom will post new pictures soon.  Something is wrong with her camera, she told me to tell you.

6 weeks old!

Ruff ruff!

Wow!  At 6 weeks old, my boys are so active!  They are sleeping a lot, probably because when they are up it's nonstop play!

 

Dad gave them their shots yesterday and we had a scare with one of them the day before...

 

My human brother accidently sat on one of the boys!  He cried and cried, not the brother, but the baby!  He wasn't putting weight on his back right leg, so mom and dad rushed him and me and the others to the emergency vet.  Vet said he seems fine and of course after two hours of waiting, he was putting weight on his leg and seemed fine, just sore.

 

So, he had pain medicine for a couple of days and you'd never know there was a problem now!  He and the others are all over the place!

 

Their teeth are sharp now, so I let mom feed them puppy food.  When she's not looking, I sneak in and eat some for myself!  I'm still hungry, but mom says I have to let them wean and produce less milk, which means less food for me.  Arf! Arf!

5 weeks old!

ARF!  ARF!!

I am so proud of my boys!  You've just got to see how adorable they are!  My dad is video taping them and mom is trying to get pictures, but they move so fast!

 

 

This morning they were playing and running and jumping, I even like to play with them now!  They do have teeth, so I'm really not into nursing much at all...but I love playing with them!

 

They are 5 weeks old and so much fun!  Next week they get shots and mom can't wait to take them on outings to show them off to the world!  Mom's been looking for little blue t-shirts for them to wear, and she can't find them anywhere. 

 

Big Red has become the baby of the family, even though he is the first born.  He is quiet, and cries more than his brothers.  He loves to just be held, and cuddled.

 

Blue Boy and Purple Boy are very playful and hyper!  They bounce and run all over the place.  They even played tug-of-war today!  They growl at each other and bark too!

 

Mom bought the boys little color-coded collars today, so I guess she'll stop coloring their tails with the Sharpie pens.  She also bought them a play yard...They are able to jump out of the kiddie pool.  They don't like it yet.  I guess they have to get used to it.  They still sleep in the laundry basket by mom's side of the bed at night.  That way I can jump in and nurse if I need to.

 

They've also been eating puppy food lately...the chicken in gravy is becoming better than nursing for them!  Yippee!  I get to lick the plate when they are done, so it works out great!

4 weeks old!

These weeks seem to go so fast lately!

I'm feeling like my old self, and I even went camping at a lake with my mom, sisters and brother Cooper.   He's a yellow lab like Shauna.  Oh and of course we took the boys!  But mom forgot the camera again!

Aren't they precious?  Mom bought a kiddie pool for them to play in during the day.  They are playing all the time!  They play with each other and started playing with toys too!  Tomorrow they are 4 weeks old!

3 weeks old!

Good morning!  ARF, ARF!!

 

Well, the past 21 days have been fun, exciting and very tiring!  I'm feeling better every day and I'm wanting to go on long walks and car rides.   I feel a little guilty wanting to leave my boys, but, I miss my life!

 

They are doing fine!  Better than fine!  They all have their eyes open and if mom didn't mark their tails with different colored Sharpie pens, I don't even think I'd be able to tell them apart!

 

Big Red is still the biggest, he was last to open his eyes though.  Purple Boy is fastest--he is walking all over and he's the last to fall asleep!  Blue Boy is mellow and still smallest.

 

I'm getting tired of nursing them so much.  And we've had so many visitors that I'm not as nervous as before.  Mom fed them baby rice cereal mixed with warm water at 2:00 am!  Well, she tried to.  They lapped it off a spoon sort of.  Today they should do much better.   Ahhhhhhh, a break for me!  Ruff! Ruff!

My Boy's Are Two Weeks Old!!

Ruff Ruff! 

My little boys turned two weeks old yesterday!  They are huge!  And their eyes are opening--a little more every day!  Purple Boy's eyes opened 2 days ago, and Big Red has one eye opened and one eye still closed!  It's pretty funny!  OH, and they are learning to walk on their four legs!  When they smell me, they go crazy "looking" for me! They crawl over each other and bump into each other and move as fast as possible!

And she's making a hard-bound book through shutterfly too, so that I'l have an incredible keepsake of my experience as a mommy!

They're gaining weight!

I've been feeling a little more relaxed today.  Mom actually gave me a long bath and brushed my hair and blow dried it!  It felt really nice to get clean finally!  My boys are 6 days old! 

 

"Big Red", my first born is still the largest!  He weighs 7.1 oz!

"Blue Boy" is smallest and weighs 5.4 oz.

"Purple Boy" weighs 5.6 oz.

 

I'm starting to be really hungry all the time!  Mom feeds me at lest 3 times a day, thank God!  ARF ARF!!

MY THREE SONS!!!

My darkest day has passed.  I am learning how to be a mom and loving my 3 sons with all my doggy heart!  

 

When my mommy left for 2 ½ days, right after the birth of my puppies, I thought I was going to die!  I didn’t want anyone but Mom and I let them all know it!  Sadly, my little girl didn’t make it.  However my boys are so strong and so handsome!  ARF ARF!!

 

I am happy to finally be a mom!  Scary how they decided to come 6 days early though!

Things are going well, they are nursing all the time and sleeping.  Mom is home and takes me outside to go potty often.  She’s feeding me extra food and I am sleeping in a box right on the floor next to Mom’s side of the bed. 

 

I really don’t leave my puppies at all except to go potty.  They are only 4 days old! 

 

Mom has taken some pictures.  I hope you like them.  I’m off to sleep and feed again!

My Mom's going away?

Ruff ruff!

Boo hoo!  I am hearing talk around the house that my mommy is going away!  Someone died and she is leaving!  I'm getting nervous!

 

At least my big sister Jessie will be with me.  She's great!  She will be my substitute mommy for a few days. 

 

I'll just sleep a lot and not worry.  Everything will be ok.  Here's my sister, Jessie. 

 

 

 

 She's 15 and has been learning about whelping.  She's going to be my mom's assistant when I go into labor.

I'm bored and I'm huge and I want these puppies out!

Errrrruff!  Ruff! Errrruff!

I'm grumpy today!  I just feel huge!  I feel like I'm going to pop!  No way can I go another 9 days!  I want these babies out now! 

 

See how huge I am?  It's sooooooo  UNCOMFORTABLE!!!
