Treasuring the Moments
Oct. 29, 2006 - Is This for Real???
Posted in Just for Fun

Can this really be true?  I don't know but I thought it was too funny not to share with you.

Check out your salad closely before buying or eating - - and perhaps next time when someone says “soup or salad” - - say SOUP!  J

Check out the bag below….

Don’t forget this brand of fresh lettuce!  What probably happened is, the water the lettuce was washed in contained polliwogs and these became fresh new frogs, right in the packages . So if you are looking for salad fixins with a little more body, then be sure and try this brand.
Soup or Salad... Soup please!!
 J

I just can't believe thats true!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. You left a comment that you were not able to read my post "Finding Nature in our own Backyard". I did not have it in any secret code on purpose and, in fact, it looked normal to me but I changed the font and I wonder if you would please go back and take a peek and let me know if you are able to read it now!

Thanks so much,
Amy

That is crazy!! Imagine if you didn't notice and you opened the bag then a frog hopped out!
Makes me wonder about how well they wash those leaves
Hope you are having a good day,
Stacy

That would definitely be cause for concern! Although I have probably seen it all - my son caught some moles in my tupperware one time and left them on the counter with the lid on. :)
I know what you mean about Chinese food not being authentic here. The restaurant that we went to in D.C. that had the ducks hanging was supposed to be authentic. The others we went to were pretty Americanized. :) Thanks for stopping by!
