I have been INSANELY busy. I got another medium-sized job (6.5 hours, medium for a part-timer!), started school up again, AND we painted my daughters' room and THEN decided to refinish the hardwood floor. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WORK THAT IS? It's a lot.
Here is a Before shot (Well I'm actually not organized enough speaking bloggily, so this is more of a Half-way shot):

Here is what the floor looked like before, well kinda, this is not the best picture in the world. I probably should wait until daylight or maybe turn on more lights! Checking the quality of photos BEFORE downloading would also be a good idea. Anyway, to the left is the sanded bit and to the right is the unsanded bit and the center is sort of flash reflection, I think. That is my foot and yes, the trim work needs a bit of touching up!

My dear daughters are the designers of this color scheme and chose "Coastal Mist", (a very pale shade of blue) for the ceiling, "Bliss Blue" for the walls, and "Cobalt Glaze" for trim. We now refer to this as the "Blue Room"!
Some of you may be wondering where we stashed all the "stuff" normally found in a teen's room. Why it's in the living room, of course!

Can you believe that I CANNOT wait for this floor to be done? |
