All winter I've admired everyone else's snow pictures while lamenting the fact that we have had none. Oh, we've had plenty of cold enough days, (no global warming here!) but whenever the wet stuff came down it was always way above freezing. Not that I'm complaining. Georgia is still in a drought and we need all the wet stuff we can get, I just wanted some white wet stuff.
Well, today my children's prayers have been answered!

I had to bring in the plants from the porch that I haven't planted in the yard yet. No point in killing the beautiful blossoms, eh?

Papa went out and picked some of the daffodils that have bloomed because it's going to dip down into the twenties tonight and that will kill anything that has opened up.

Rebecca, my baby, is the only one of my children who actually ventured out in the snow--and she is still the sickest! I guess the other two were just praying for a SNOW DAY. Well, they got it--on SUNDAY!! Ha.

Me:
Do NOT throw that snowball at me!
|
Me:
Ooh, my child throws like a girl!
|
What did she do that for? |
Tonks got into the action as well:
It will probably be long gone by tomorrow, but now I can stop griping about the fact that the whole world gets snow and I don't. Now I think I will go mop the kitchen floor. Yes, I do love snow, dragged in muck and all! |
