Nov. 29, 2007 - Christmas countdown

While I’m preparing for Christmas I came across this countdown calendar that was in an email newsletter from index cards with Molly.  I did contact her and she said if you sign up for her newsletter by the end of the week she’ll offer you a free one too!

It starts on Dec. 1st and each day you lift a flap to show a verse or sometimes two.  She also had free Christmas notebook pages to go with it.  So here’s my plan.  Almost all my kids really need to work on handwriting so I thought for December we’d use it for copywork.  No, we probably won’t get all 24 days but we should be able to get in 3 or 4 of the days each week and the bonus is we stay focused on the real Christmas story!

Just another thought for keeping Christ central!

This is nice. I was trying to make something simmilar to go with my Christmas notebooking set, but I ran out of time. Maybe I will get it done for next year. BTW, my Christmas pages are available free on my blog. I also added some new prize drawings including one for the entire set of MOH2 notebooking pages. I'd love to see you enter. You are very creative. Melissa
