We met up with our good buddies, the Kings, for a fun Saturday at the Nashville Zoo on Saturday.

They had a special egg hunt there for the kids, but Jon didn't want any part of it.  The older boys had some fun hunting, but mainly we just enjoyed the zoo together.

Tony & Jon got into the spirit of things anyway though.

Josh had fun on the carousel.

Matthew had fun in the sandbox.

And we saw a few animals!

We had fun learning about the meerkats and were suprised to learn just how aggressive the ostriches are.  And did you know that male ostriches are always black and the females gray?

The tigers posed nicely for us and we just happened to go by the elephants when they were holding tails and going for their evening walk together!

It was a beautiful day and Tony just kept saying all day, "Hey, know what?  I don't have to rush home to get to Papa John's tonight!"
