• Mar. 10, 2007 - The Sweetest Thing
My five year old is such a loving kid and he's still just trying to find the right words to say what he feels in his heart.
He usually says things like "I love you the whole world" which means a whole bunch cuz the world is pretty big!
So the other day I said to him, "I love you to the moon and back" trying to top him.
Not to be outdone he said, "I love you whereever you are"
And that I can't top.
It reminded me so much of how God meets us whereever we are and He loves us right there. Yes we can love people to the moon and back, but sometimes it's even harder to love them whereever they are.
I am so blessed to have a little guy who loves me like that and a Heavenly Father who reminds me of how I need to love others.... whereever they are.
