I'm a silent generation person, too. That first question threw me. I had to go Google emo kids. *sigh* I guess I have officially reached fuddy-duddy-hood - I don't even know the hip terms anymore.
I'm a silent generation person too! I have no idea what an emo kid is... I thought maybe they misspelled Elmo? Beats me! And I couldn't really relate to punks, beatniks or hippies either.
But I have always gotten along better with older people. I just love their stories!
