Well my local homeschool support group is gearing up to see The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe together on the 13th. While many know the storyline, many are curious about how good the movie will be or what ages it will be appropriate for.

Fortunately Amelia Harper (she wrote some articles about it for the Fall 2005 issue) has reviewed the movie and the review is up on the The Old Schoolhouse website now. Mia (as she's lovingly known) is a homeschool mom and understands what many of us are sensitive too and cautious about so I really value her opinion.

Claire and Eric took me to see Narnia tonight. I paid. They took Robert (husband and father) to see it the night it opened. We had to go separately because someone had to stay home with the little girls. Robert cried three times!!! Not bad for a rather steady as a rock kind of person.
I loved it! Lucy is so endearing. I have a little one (Anna) about that age so I especially loved her character.To quote a line from one of my favorite old movies (sort of, the line that is), Narnia is beautiful this time of year - all that snow!

Glad your water issue is resolved. Good high priced writen' material for your book.
