I saw these stats on the Front Porch this morning.
Well over 3 MILLION page views!
Close to TWO MILLION total visits!
Countries linking in include: US, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Japan, EU, Great Britain, New Zealand, China, Netherlands, Germany, South Africa, and 12 more.
My favorite part of the numbers though are the people behind the numbers.
First you can look at how all of this started 6 months ago with Gena, Jen, Aslan, Anissa and a few friends. They started trying to explain what a blog was to the rest of us and once we got started we started inviting friends. I still love to visit the blogs of some of the first friends that I made here - ByHisGraceInColorado, EJoyce,Ink, and LoneStarMama.
Early on I learned the importance of reading the company blog and responding. After responding to a plea for bloggers willing to contribute to an article for The Old Schoolhouse, I made my first set of *blog* friends - Spunky, Mia, Claire and Christine Field. I was so impressed by the talent, diversity and homeschooler spirit of folks here at HSB.
Not long after, I responded to another post on the HSBCompanyBlog and found myself learning about public relations and marketing from PRMama herself! Now I got to know more bloggers even better: Eleanor, Kristina, Harriette, Patricia, Tami, Lynda, Dena and Victoria.
And then there are all of the bloggers that I've stumbled across from random blogging or their comments on other people's posts - HolyExperience, Dalyn, and her Doug, Marsha, JillNovak (Claire's mom), Amy Beth, Kris, Boltbabe, MamaBugs, KathyKin and SageRats.
It's all just been so much fun! Now even some of my IRL (in real life) friends are blogging! My hubby, Tony, our old neighbor Julie ,and our buddy Joel.
So while those numbers are awesome, I've just got to tell you that the people behind those numbers are even more awesome. HomeSchoolBlogger has become a great community to me and a wonderful way for me to keep in touch with my friends (even if they aren't bloggers). Come join us!

I don't go to chat rooms for those very reasons. I do spend a huge amount of time here at homeschoolblogger! Blessings!
